This is a quick guideline to what I see as being the only way to rate with UPS Mail Innovations:

1. Set the Mail Innovations Account.

2. Set the Mail Innovations DUNS #.

3. Set the Mail Innovations Cost Center as the Client ID.

4. Set the Mail Innovations Rating Enabled switch to TRUE.

5. Script ups_mi_rate table to new table with "_<Location ID>" appended to it (eg. Wholesale Point is ups_mi_rate_3111).

6. For oz-based rating, populate the UM4_2 column with those oz-based rates, otherwise populate the appropriate int_code-based rates for Lb. and over.

7. Set the MAILCLASS special service to 'PS LightWeight' (2) on the ship via for the oz-based rates.

8. Test it out.

5. Ask JJ to have their location-based MAILCLASS Special Service added to the special_service_values table (MAILCLASS SS w/ a value and engine_value => Location ID).

6. [JJ] Create temp ups_mi_rate_temp table (script from ups_mi_rate table and add <UM#_LocationID> column... eg. UM4_3111 is the Domestic Expedited Mail Innovations service for WHOLESALE POINT Location 3111.

7. [JJ] Add weight-based custom rates from the client into new column in #6.

8. [JJ] Rename ups_mi_rate to a new backup table and rename ups_mi_rate_temp to ups_mi_rate.

9. Add Special Service of MAILCLASS to the ship via code and select the Location ID from the drop-down value list.

10. Test it out to make sure it's rating.
